November 2021
The web series "Definitely Not Today" premiered on major streaming platforms including Amazon, Youku, and Tencent. Yu composed one of the three theme songs and contributed as an additional composer in the music production team.
May 2021
"ECOWAS / USAID Innovating Country Risk and Vulnerability Assessments" received the 2021 Silver Telly Award. Yu was the composer for this project.

On May 2nd, 2019, Yu's string quartet piece "Ylem Machine" was performed in New York City.

In August, Yu Shi was invited to the highSCORE Festival in Pavia, Italy, as a composer. Her flute and guitar piece "LIGO's Ear" was performed by Unassisted Fold on August 16
April 2018
Yu completed the music for "Goodbye Mom," a short film directed by Crystal Angeles.

Yu's compositions "Crypto Waves" and the art song "Orphanage" were performed at the Good Shepherd Church in New York City.
